Terms of Service

Last updated: 16 June 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of AssignAI (the “Service”), available at myassign.ai. The Service is operated by Anton Charalambidis, an individual sole trader based in Limassol, Cyprus (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Please read these Terms carefully — by using the Service you agree to them.

1. Agreement to these terms

By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

3. Your account

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for all activity under your account. You may not share your account, create an account for anyone else, or use another person’s account without permission. Notify us promptly at support@myassign.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. The service

AssignAI is an AI-assisted writing studio that provides tools to help you draft and refine written work, including:

  • Assignment Writer — drafts structured written work from a brief you provide.
  • Humanizer — polishes your own text to read more naturally.
  • PowerPoint Creator — produces slide outlines and exportable decks.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. The Service is provided as a tool to assist you; it does not provide professional, legal, academic, or other expert advice.

5. Acceptable use & academic integrity

You are solely responsible for how you use the Service and its outputs. The Service is intended as a study, research, and drafting aid — for example, to help you understand a topic, structure your thinking, improve your own writing, or generate practice material.

Academic integrity

Many schools, universities, and other institutions have rules about the use of AI tools and about submitting work that is not your own. You must comply with the academic-integrity, assessment, and conduct rules of your institution. Do not submit output from the Service as your own original work where doing so is prohibited. We are not responsible for any academic penalty, disciplinary action, or other consequence arising from how you use the Service or its outputs.

Prohibited uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break any law, regulation, or third-party right (including intellectual-property or privacy rights);
  • create content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or harmful;
  • commit fraud or impersonate any person or organisation;
  • attempt to bypass usage limits, paywalls, rate limits, security, or access controls, or to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service;
  • resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission; or
  • upload content you do not have the right to use, or that contains other people’s personal data without a lawful basis.

We may suspend or terminate access for any breach of this section.

6. AI output and accuracy

The Service uses third-party artificial-intelligence models to generate output based on the input you provide. AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or not original. Citations and references it suggests may be wrong or may not exist.

We make no guarantee that any output is accurate, original, fit for a particular purpose, free of third-party rights, “undetectable” by any tool, or that it will achieve any particular grade or outcome. You must review, verify, and edit any output before relying on or submitting it. You use output at your own risk.

7. Intellectual property

We (and our licensors) own the Service, including its software, design, branding, and content, which are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

You retain any rights you have in the input you submit. As between you and us, and to the extent permitted by law and by the terms of the underlying AI providers, you may use the output you generate, subject to these Terms (including the acceptable-use and academic-integrity section). You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any input you submit.

8. Subscriptions & billing

The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Current plans are Standard ($12 / month) and Premium ($24 / month or $150 / year), in US dollars, as shown on our pricing page. Each plan includes the usage allowances described at the point of sale.

  • Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price, until cancelled.
  • Cancellation. You can cancel at any time; you keep access until the end of the paid period. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • Price changes. We may change prices or plan features; we will give you reasonable notice and changes apply from your next billing period.
  • Taxes. Prices may exclude applicable taxes, which are your responsibility where they apply.
  • Non-payment. If a payment fails, we may suspend or downgrade your access.

9. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all output are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, academic standing, or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or any output.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service in any 12-month period will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in that period, or (b) EUR 100. This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory statutory consumer rights).

12. Changes to the service and these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence. If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
