Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how AssignAI subscriptions renew, how to cancel, and when refunds apply. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

In short

You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of your paid period. We do not give refunds for the remaining part of a billing period once it has started, except where the law requires it (see the EU 14-day right below) or in genuine cases such as a duplicate charge.

1. Subscriptions and auto-renewal

Paid plans (Standard and Premium) are subscriptions billed in advance and renew automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly or annual, depending on the plan you chose — at the then-current price, until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe.

2. How to cancel

You can cancel at any time from your account settings (which open the secure Stripe billing portal). When you cancel:

  • your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for;
  • you will not be charged again; and
  • after the period ends, your account moves to the free tier.

3. Refunds

Because the Service is a digital service that is made available to you immediately, payments are generally non-refundable, and we do not provide partial refunds for the unused part of a billing period after it has begun. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.

4. EU 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because our paid features are digital services supplied immediately:

  • by purchasing a plan and then accessing or using any paid feature, you expressly request that we begin providing the service immediately and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once you start using the paid features; and
  • if you have purchased a plan but have not yet used any paid feature, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing us.

This does not affect any other mandatory consumer rights you have under applicable law.

5. Exceptional refunds

We will refund genuine errors such as a duplicate charge, or a clear failure of the Service that we are unable to remedy. These are handled case by case — just contact us and explain what happened.

6. Chargebacks

If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first at support@myassign.ai so we can resolve it quickly. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may lead to your account being suspended while the dispute is reviewed.

7. How to request a refund

Email support@myassign.ai from the address on your account, with your account email and a short description of your request. We aim to respond within a few business days.
