Is AssignAI free to try?
Yes. The free plan includes one assignment run with a preview of the draft and 300 Humanizer words, with no card. Paid plans start at $12 a month.
Is each draft original?
Yes. Every draft is generated for your brief, rubric and word count. Run the same brief twice and you get two different drafts.
Are the references real?
Yes. Each citation is checked against Crossref and OpenAlex, the databases behind DOIs and journal indexes, before it is added. Anything that cannot be verified is left out. You should still read the sources you cite.
Which citation styles are supported?
Harvard, APA 7, MLA, Chicago, IEEE and OSCOLA, or auto-detect from your brief.
Can I upload my brief as a PDF?
Yes. Attach the assignment brief or the marking criteria as a PDF and the run reads it alongside your text.
Will it sound like me?
It will read naturally, because the polish pass varies sentence length and rhythm. Sounding like you is your part: edit the draft and add your own argument.
Does it pass Turnitin, GPTZero and the other detectors?
In our own tests, finished drafts passed Turnitin, GPTZero, Originality.ai, Copyleaks and ZeroGPT. Detectors update their models, so we test regularly rather than promise a result on any given day. How you use AI-assisted drafts is still governed by your institution’s rules.
Is this allowed at my university?
Policies differ. AssignAI is a study and drafting aid. Check your institution’s rules on AI assistance and use the draft accordingly; that responsibility stays with you.
How long can an assignment be?
Between 250 and 5,000 words per run. Longer pieces are planned section by section and written to the number you set.
What can it make besides essays?
Reports, reflections and case studies through the Assignment Writer, cleaner prose through the Humanizer, and slide decks through the PowerPoint Creator on Premium.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Billing runs through Stripe. Cancel from your account and you keep access until the end of the period.
Is my work private?
Drafts live in your own workspace and only you can see them. Export or delete them whenever you want.
